Building Insurance covers the property and insures the protected property which usually is homes, offices, factories and other sorts of buildings. Building Insurances is classified under the following two types.
Commercial Insurance – Those of the properties that come under business nature are covered by commercial insurance. Insurance is taken upon factories, shops, offices, working premises or any building where business or commercial transactions take place. It can both rented or occupied by the owner itself for purpose which may also include educational institutions, auditoriums, hotels, religious institutions and medical centres.
Personal Policies – Personal Policies unlike commercial insurances are taken to cover homes, flats or any other building of residential nature. Many forms of insurance exist to suit the nature of the occupancy or tenant.
