Non – Standard Household Insurance There are a number of risks that the standard policies on the CETA quotations system will not cover. To ensure that our members have access to products that will cover even the most difficult risks, we have put in place a number of providers, who between them can cover virtually any non-standard household risk. Although premiums are high because the insurance risk is much greater, the renewal retention rates are very good. High premiums equal higher retention level of commission. Quotation request forms are on the CETA quotation system. Fax them to our household department for a quotation. The sort of risks that come under the headings of non-standard are: Underpinned properties, subsidence, flood areas, unusual construction, thatched properties, high value properties, clients with criminal convictions, unusual occupations, professional sports persons and poor claim records.
