Holidays are a time for excitement and fun. Proper planning will help the holiday be a very memorable one. Below is a list that can be kept as a reference while preparing for a holiday. Prepare a checklist of all the items to take and reminders for the ones that are to be added on later for the trip. Before hand gather details about the speciality of the holiday spot and visit those first. Take copies of all documents such as tickets, passports and other material and hand out to each member separately. Check the windows and other doors before leaving. Unplug all electrical appliances and empty the fridge. Prepare a medical kit with some basic medicines that might be needed and in case of any person in the group that is on a medication, consult the doctor. Take proper insurance packages even if they are a bit more expensive. All luggage’s taken should be properly locked using locks. Inform a neighbour and ask them to keep a watch out on the house. Spare house keys can be left with a friend. Spare batteries, films and mobile phone chargers should be added to the list.
